AGE-DEFYING EYELID SURGERY

Eyelid Rejuvenation Upper Blepharoplasty · Lower Blepharoplasty · Sub-Brow Lift

A personalized approach to tired, heavy or aged-looking eyes. The procedure is selected according to the location of excess skin, lower-eyelid fat, brow position and your existing eyelid crease.

PERSONALIZED SURGICAL PLANNING

The right procedure depends on where the aging changes begin.

Upper-eyelid heaviness may be treated through the eyelid crease or just below the eyebrow. Lower-eyelid aging may require skin tightening, fat repositioning or additional support of the lower lid.

Rather than removing as much skin or fat as possible, the goal is to preserve natural eyelid anatomy while creating a smoother, more rested appearance.
Skin and Brow Position

We assess whether the heaviness comes mainly from eyelid skin, brow descent or both.

Existing Eyelid Crease

The current crease can be preserved, refined or redesigned depending on your goals.

Lower-Lid Support

Fat prominence, tear-trough depth, skin laxity and lid stability are evaluated together.

TREATMENT OPTIONS

Three approaches to eyelid rejuvenation

Each procedure addresses a different area. More than one technique may be combined when both the upper and lower eyelids require correction.

Upper blepharoplasty
UPPER EYELID

Upper Blepharoplasty

Excess upper-eyelid skin is removed through a carefully designed incision, usually placed within the eyelid crease. Fat and the eyelid-opening mechanism may also be addressed when indicated.

  • Improves hooding and overlapping folds
  • Can refine or recreate the eyelid crease
  • May be combined with ptosis correction
Sub-brow lift
BELOW THE EYEBROW

Sub-Brow Lift

Excess skin is removed along the lower border of the eyebrow. This approach lifts heavy upper-eyelid skin while largely preserving the patient’s existing eyelid crease.

  • Ideal for lateral upper-eyelid hooding
  • Preserves the existing double-eyelid line
  • Scar is positioned beneath the brow
Lower blepharoplasty
LOWER EYELID

Lower Blepharoplasty

Through an incision just below the eyelashes, excess skin is conservatively removed and prominent fat may be reduced or repositioned into the tear trough.

  • Improves loose skin and fine wrinkles
  • Smooths under-eye bags and tear troughs
  • Lower-lid support can be added when needed
WHICH PROCEDURE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Choosing the most suitable approach

01 · UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY

When the eyelid crease is covered or irregular

Often recommended when excess skin creates multiple folds, hides the eyelid crease or requires direct correction through the upper eyelid.

02 · SUB-BROW LIFT

When the existing crease should be preserved

Often suitable when the main concern is skin drooping from the brow area, especially toward the outer upper eyelid.

03 · LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY

When under-eye bags and skin laxity occur together

Recommended when lower-eyelid skin excess, bulging fat and tear-trough hollowing need to be corrected in the same procedure.

RECOVERY AT A GLANCE

What to expect after surgery

01

Swelling and Bruising

Swelling is usually most noticeable during the first few days and gradually improves.

02

Suture Removal

Sutures are generally removed according to the surgical area and healing progress.

03

Return to Daily Activities

Many patients resume light daily activities within about one week, depending on swelling.

04

Final Result

The eyelids continue to soften and look more natural as swelling and scar firmness settle.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions about eyelid rejuvenation

How do I know whether I need upper blepharoplasty or a sub-brow lift? +
Upper blepharoplasty directly treats excess skin and the eyelid crease. A sub-brow lift is often preferred when the existing crease should be preserved and the main concern is skin descending from the brow area.
Is lower blepharoplasty the same as under-eye fat repositioning? +
Not exactly. Lower blepharoplasty includes external skin correction and may also include fat repositioning. When there is little skin laxity, transconjunctival fat repositioning without an external incision may be more suitable.
Will the result look overcorrected or unnatural? +
The surgical plan is based on conservative skin removal, balanced fat correction and preservation of each patient’s natural eyelid structure. The goal is a rested, harmonious appearance rather than a dramatically altered look.
Can these procedures be combined? +
Yes. Upper and lower eyelid surgery may be performed together, and ptosis correction, fat repositioning or lower-lid support may be added when clinically indicated.
